Isaiah 14:12-15

12 How ayou are fallen from heaven,
O Day Star, bson of Dawn!
How you are cut down to the ground,
you who laid the nations low!
13You said in your heart,
c‘I will ascend to heaven;
above the stars of God
dI will set my throne on high;
I will sit on the mount of assembly
in the far reaches of the north;
Or  in the remote parts of Zaphon

14I will ascend above the heights of the clouds;
I will make myself like the Most High.’
15 fBut you are brought down to Sheol,
to the far reaches of the pit.

Ezekiel 20:40

40 gFor on my holy mountain, the mountain height of Israel, declares the Lord God, there hall the house of Israel, all of them, shall serve me in the land. iThere I will accept them, and there I will require your contributions and the choicest of your gifts, with all your sacred offerings.

Ezekiel 28:2

2 jSon of man, say to kthe prince of Tyre, Thus says the Lord God:

l“Because your heart is proud,
and myou have said, ‘I am a god,
I sit in the seat of the gods,
in the heart of the seas,’
yet nyou are but a man, and no god,
othough you make your heart like the heart of a god

Ezekiel 28:16

16In the abundance of pyour trade
you were filled with violence in your midst, and you sinned;
so I cast you as a profane thing from qthe mountain of God,
and I destroyed you,
Or banished you
sO guardian cherub,
from the midst of the stones of fire.

2 Thessalonians 2:4

4who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, tproclaiming himself to be God.
